Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information KaBingo collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. KaBingo is a social bingo app made so families and friends who are far apart can enjoy a bingo night together. By using KaBingo, you agree to this policy. KaBingo uses in-app "credits" for fun only. They have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn. Any real prizes are arranged and given by the room host outside the app. See our Terms & Conditions for the full rules.

1. Who is responsible

KaBingo is run by a private individual (the developer) for family entertainment, not by a company. You can reach the developer at the contact address below for any privacy request.

2. Information we collect

When you sign in. You can sign in with Google or with an email and password.
- With Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
- With email and password, we receive your email address and the display name you choose. Your password is set and stored securely by our sign-in provider (Supabase Auth); the developer never sees your password.
Profile you provide. Your display name, a unique username, your chosen avatar (an emoji or an uploaded photo), and an optional phone or GCash number so a host can send you a prize.
Game activity. Your credit balance, the rooms you join or host, the cards you buy, chat messages you send, your wins, and when you were last active in the app (used to show an online/"last seen" status).
Basic technical data. Standard information your browser or device sends when loading the app (for example, to keep you signed in). We do not use advertising trackers.

3. How we use your information

To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
To run the game: wallets and credits, rooms, cards, live number calling, wins, and chat.
To let hosts coordinate real prizes (for example, showing your phone or GCash number to the host of a room you joined, when you have provided it).
To keep the game fair and safe (for example, an admin verifying a phone number or managing credits).

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

4. What others can see

Your display name, username, and avatar are visible to other players in the same room.
Your online status (a green dot and an "active X minutes ago" note, based on when you last had the app open) is visible to other players in a room's player list and on the dashboard. It reflects only whether the app is open - never your location.
Chat messages you send are visible to everyone in that room.
Winners' display names appear on the room's finished screen and in game history.
Your email, phone or GCash number, and password are not shown to other players. A host of a room you joined may see the phone or GCash number you provided so they can send a prize. Admins may see account details to manage the game.

5. Where your data is stored

KaBingo relies on a few trusted service providers:

Supabase - our backend (database, sign-in, and file storage for avatars). Data is hosted on Supabase's infrastructure in the Singapore region.
Cloudflare Pages - hosts and delivers the web app.
Google - only if you choose to sign in with Google.

These providers process data on our behalf so the app can work. Your information may be stored or processed on servers outside the Philippines (for example, in Singapore).

6. Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your account and game data while your account is active. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your data at any time by contacting the address below, and we will remove your account and personal information within a reasonable time, except anything we are required to keep by law.

7. Family use and children

KaBingo is intended for family entertainment. If a child uses KaBingo, a parent or guardian should set up and manage the account and supervise their use. If you believe a child has given us personal information without a guardian's involvement, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use reputable providers (Supabase, Cloudflare, Google) and standard protections such as encrypted connections and access rules so that each player can only see what they are meant to. No online service can be perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of KaBingo after a change means you accept the updated policy.

10. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
