How to Play & House Rules

Last updated: 11 September 2026

KaBingo is a friendly 75-ball bingo game for families and friends, wherever they are. This page explains how a game works and the simple house rules that keep it fair and fun. For quick answers see the FAQ. For the legal details, see our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Credits inside the app are for fun only - they have no cash value and cannot be bought or cashed out. Any real prize (for example GCash) is arranged and given by the host outside the app.

1. Joining a game

  • Sign in with Google or with an email and password.
  • Open a room from the list on the dashboard, or open the host's invite link.
  • A private room asks for an invite code - get it from the host.
  • A scheduled game shows a countdown; open it a little early so you do not miss the first ball.

Daily Bingo (automatic games)

  • Daily Bingo rooms open and run on their own several times a day (Philippine time) - no host needed. Look for the DAILY tag on the dashboard; live games are at the top, upcoming ones are listed by start time.
  • Anyone can join. Each game has a small, random buy-in per card (sometimes free), and every game starts with a guaranteed minimum prize pot that grows as more players buy cards.
  • The winner takes the whole pot (split if there is a tie). You play exactly as in any room: mark your card and tap BINGO! when you complete the pattern.
  • The pot amount is shown on the room card and in the lobby, so you can see what a win is worth before you buy.

2. Cards and credits

  • Each card is a 5x5 grid (B 1-15, I 16-30, N 31-45 with a free center, G 46-60, O 61-75).
  • Buy one or more cards with credits before the game starts. Some rooms are free to play.
  • Credits are granted by an administrator - there is no self top-up. You can tap Request credits in the Wallet and an admin will grant them.

3. Playing a round

  • Numbers are called live - by an automatic caller or by the host - and read aloud by your device.
  • Called numbers light up on your card automatically (you can turn this off and daub manually).
  • The win pattern for the round is shown (a line, four corners, blackout, and more).

4. Winning - you must tap BINGO!

  • When your card completes the pattern, the BINGO! button lights up. You must tap it to claim your win - the app then checks your card.
  • The first valid BINGO pauses the caller and opens a 5-second window so other players can also tap. Only players who tap a valid card win - if you do not tap, you do not win, even if your card is complete. Everyone who taps a completing card shares the round's credit pot equally.
  • Breaking a tie (for one real prize): when a round has more than one winner and only one prize is offered, the tied winners vote a method - Split (share the prize), Spin the wheel (random pick), or Highest number (each winner gets a random 1-100; the highest wins). It decides once every tied winner has voted (the host can also resolve it), and the method with the most votes wins. If the votes are tied, or no one votes, Spin the wheel decides (and a Highest-number tie also falls back to Spin the wheel). The result is shown to everyone. This only decides the single external prize - the credit pot is always split among all who tapped.

5. Multi-round games

  • A room can have several rounds, each with its own pattern and prize. You keep the same cards; the balls reset each round.
  • After a round is won, the next round waits - the host presses Start round before the calling continues.

6. Prizes

  • The credit pot is paid inside the app automatically.
  • Any real prize (for example a GCash amount) is given by the host outside the app. KaBingo does not handle money and is not a gambling operator.
  • Whether and how a prize is given is between the host and the players.

7. Fair play and being kind

  • Play fairly - do not cheat or exploit bugs.
  • Keep chat friendly. Offensive language is filtered, and the host can turn chat off.
  • Your display name and username are visible to other players; your email and phone are not.
  • An administrator may pause, deactivate, or remove accounts that break these rules.

8. For hosts

  • Only approved hosts (and admins) can create rooms. Ask an admin for host access.
  • Set the card price, pattern(s), rounds, and prize when you create the room; you can edit these before the game starts (including adding rounds or turning the invite code on or off).
  • Share a private room with its Copy invite link button.
  • You are the caller: keep the pace fair, and if you leave or refresh, the game pauses so no one misses a ball.
  • Describe prizes honestly and deliver what you promise - you host on your own behalf, not for KaBingo.

9. Tips

  • Sound: for the caller voice, open KaBingo in Chrome or Safari. In-app browsers (like the one inside Facebook or Messenger) may have no sound - use the "..." menu and choose "Open in browser". Turn your volume up, and on iPhone turn off the silent switch.
  • Create your account a little early so you are ready when a scheduled game starts.
  • You can pick the caller voice and turn on the fun Taglish caller in your Profile.
